Adele Ankers-Range

Adele Ankers-Range is a contributing freelance writer for IGN, covering all of the latest water-cooler entertainment news as well as the most weird and wonderful science topics. Adele swapped business suits and office hours for flannel shirts and flexibility in 2015 when she decided to take an uncharacteristic risk and exited stage left on her marketing career to pursue her passion as a writer. Adele now has almost a decade of journalism experience under her belt, with previous bylines at Yahoo, Screen Rant, and Sideshow Collectibles. She's also worked with the Disney Research team across various studies, exploring areas of computer graphics and consumer electronics, developing scripts from story concepts, and collaborating with software engineering teams on VR experiences. When Adele isn't writing, you'll find her pressing forward with her own perpetual movie marathon, comprised of genuine greats, forgotten oddities, and everything in between. She often switches out her home theater for the traditional big-screen experience and spends more time than she would care to admit alphabetising her extensive Blu-ray and DVD collection.
