Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is an adventure platformer, but allows the freedom and flexibility to play the game how you wish. One of the best ways to alter Mario and his partner’s stats is to use Badges, which are items you can equip that cause effects in and out of battle. This page lists all Badges in Paper Mario: TTYD plus their locations.

Badges can be found in many places. Some of them are in overlooked or avoidable places in dungeons, while others can only be purchased from vendors like the Lovely Howz of Badges or the Pianta Parlor. They’re also pretty expensive, so save up for them.

Each Badge has a BP cost required to equip them. You can only equip Badges that you have enough total BP for. With more BP, you can equip more and more Badges. If you need more BP, you can choose to increase it following leveling up.
