Dredge Review
great
Dredge's slow dive into Lovecraftian horror intermingles with its simple fishing and sailing mechanics to create an approachable boat management sim that's as unsettling as it is relaxing.

A truly remarkable game, Dredge manages to take a concept simple enough ,like fishing, and make something incredible with it .
Dredge makes you unwind and relax at times , while in other moments of the game you will feel scared , even in danger !
To conclude the game is rather small in duration , however it expands the fishing sim and mixes it with lovecraftian lore
A must buy !!
Tried the demo. Couldn’t get the game out of my head. Bought it and have been enjoying more than Tears of the Kingdom, which I bought at the same time! Atmospheric, relaxing, intriguing. Amazing sound design. Highly recommend it.
Dredge was a really fun fishing adventure in a Lovecraftian setting. I wish it would have leaned harder into its cosmic horror elements though. The progression undercuts that tension as it trivializes away the supernatural enemies.
Addicting indie game with a intriguing story
Wonderful game with great atmosphere and overall vibe. Differently scaling work well, however story becomes a little repetitive towards the second half. Overall wonderful indie title.
An appropriate scale of an indie game with a mysterious topic deserves a try
Enjoyed it alright but didn’t feel compelled to finish. Nice graphics. Really alluring setting, nailing that lovecraft vibe. Gameplay was simple but moderately satisfying.
It's a good open world Lovecraft fishing game
Whoever made this - please be working on a sequel.
Little gem
Dredge is an intriguingly ominous fishing game that has the allusion of a deeply strange premise, but is ultimately dulled by constant fetch quests and backtracking. The simplicity of exploring the world and fishing with a collect-a-thon is fun, but ultimately felt like I was waiting for a bigger surprise to happen.

Dredge is fantastic game.
Dredge is appears as a peaceful fishing simulator but as you explore the world around you, things are not quite as they seem. As you head out to fish for the local wildlife and sell and upgrade your boat, you explore the different islands this small world had to offer. But the more you fish and the explore, the more mysteries you find, the more you want to explore more!
The writing and dialogue is simple but intriguing. As you meet the different characters you feel apart of a Charles dickens mystery as it keeps spinning.
Curiosity is so important in games as it gives you a reason to keep coming back and playing more. Dredge is full of curiosity for the player, as it simply presents you with a world and invites you to do the rest.
I hit a wall with the scavenger hunt level design when it wanted me to create 3 different kinds of bait after my dumbass didn't realize I had the previous item I needed to progress in my storage and not my inventory and I had been wandering checking absolutely everything for hours.
I’m a busy father who has limited time to play games and dive in. This was a great game to crush out in a weekend with my son. Rewarding, fun, spooky, and the kind of game that is a great time!
One of those games that you should just try.
It’s got the addicting elements of upgrading like a mobile game, without having to watch ads, and it rewards curiosity without feeling like you have to grind.
It’s probably for you if you enjoy the first season of Stardew Valley, enjoy the exploration of a game like tears of the kingdom, and don’t want to commit more than 10-15 hours.
