Sure, Tears of the Kingdom is an incredible open world masterpiece, but as a pure ‘Zelda’ game? In my opinion, there’s just no beating A Link Between Worlds. It’s simply perfect. With gorgeous visuals, heightened by autostereoscopic 3D, and some truly exceptional dungeons, playing this game was an absolute joy. For the many who were only introduced to the Zelda games via Breath of the Wild on Switch, I implore you to get a hold of a 3DS and take ALBW for a spin. It’s that good. Total playtime: 40 hours

It's as inventive as all the good Zelda games you've played. But being able to tackle virtually any dungeon in any order you wish had a surprisingly negative effect on my time with it. I made it roughly two-thirds through the game, and just kind of quit caring, as the sense of progression felt a little off. Great game aside from that though, as there are excellent 3-D related puzzles everywhere.

The overworld basically the same as A Link to the Past. So it’s not too new in that respect. I would have been happier with a new world to explore.

One of the best Zelda games in the series!

If you love and appreciate a classic Legend Of Zelda adventure then you will LOVE this game. One of the most enjoyable experiences I’ve had in a Legend Of Zelda game. Or any game for that matter. Definitely a can’t miss. I hope they put it on the Switch!

This sequel is an improvement on the original A Link to the Past. If you loved that game you'll love this game

A fantastic nostalgic trip on the 3DS. Right up there with A Link to the Past and Links Awakening. I truly love and enjoy the older top down view Zelda’s and their story lines.

The last true Zelda game. Nothing has come close since.

This is an amazing game worth playing even in 2024 if you have not already. Easily my favorite game on the 3ds and it has so much charm and nostalgic value which is so amazing!! Highly recommend to anyone!
