good
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora features a stunning alien world to explore, but doesn’t contain as many genuine surprises as other modern open-worlds.

The name of this game should be Avatar: beauty and hate, because those are the two main factors that devs used to drive the player to continue their playthrough.
The plot is very simplistic and pretty forgettable as well as all the characters. The main idea is that RDA is bad, they killed a lot of Na'vi and more and even more, so the only thing you can do is do the same - kill, destroy and do as much damage as possible. Sad. The gameplay, or how you kill and destroy, is not innovative and is rather annoying on higher difficulties. Double sad.
And yet those are not what makes this a worthwhile video game. Avatar: frontiers of Pandora makes your avatar fantasy come to life by providing an experience before anything else. It makes you truly feel like one of Na'vi and stuns you with the most beautiful world and graphics you have ever seen.
It is a shame that the thrill does dissipate once you have discovered the last section of the map, so if you are not enjoying the plot, feel free to drop.It is worth to experience once, but I am not replaying this game.
The world of Pandora is done justice with gorgeous environment just like in the movie. The game falters in delivering a compelling story however and doesn't flesh out characters enough to care about.
If you are a fan of avatar you will love it.
The exploration is fantastic and on another level
The combat is decent at times but the game also tends to make you feel weak against strong enemies and the story is middle of the road very predictable with a great cast of characters and decent acting. There isn’t really a payoff for the main story but it’s still a great way to experience the avatar world through a video game. It’s one of my favorite Ubisoft games of recent memory. The crafting is addictive and the cooking is very thought out. Riding the ikran is probably the best part of the game from a gameplay perspective. I’d give it between a 7-8 but the ending drug the game down by not doing anything interesting outside of a general victory just to end the story

Best open World game with a good story
The most beautiful world I've ever explored in a video game.
The sound effects and score is top tier.
I think the game had to get out the door and there is a severe lack in melee weapons.
This is a really polished open world game with brilliant graphics. If you are burned out on Ubisoft games, I can understand why it might not be exciting to you, but it is a very high quality game. Unknown how people could rate it less than 8/10, unless they are just burned out on this type of game.

What a fun time for the end of the year. A comopetent open world Avatar game! Unfortunately it's also filled with bugs (although none game breaking). I had a lot of fun taking down bases and flying around gathering resources. The story narrative I gave up on and skipped mostly.
Love the movies and loved being put inside the world of Pandora and being able to play as one of the Na'vi. Story is amazing and well written as well as the voice as acting. Love traveling the world of Pandora. Only thing I would love more is being able to have more of Pandora to travel. Maybe in sequel game. Especially with the newer Na'vi tribes we're being introduced to in the movies.
