Kena: Bridge of Spirits Review
great
With its elegantly simple combat and beautiful world, Kena: Bridge of Spirits harkens back to the days of the N64/GameCube-era Zeldas, Okami, and Star Fox Adventures, while also adding modern sensibilities and a distinct personal touch.

The best way I can describe Kena is it’s like someone with made a great PS2 era platformer on modern consoles! It’s simple but with just enough nuance to combat and exploration to propel you through its tight fifteen hour journey. The simplicity and throwback to the 3D platformer golden era might not be for everyone but this game ended up scratching an itch I didn’t know I had. The story and characters are all compelling but, with such a short run time, didn’t have the chance to develop fully. Overall, a very solid game!

Kena surprised me a lot! It can be quite frustrating at times with its difficulty, but besides that, it is a beauty and features a heart warming story. Developer, Ember Labs, has displayed great potential with their first ever videogame!
The most "like playing a Pixar movie" game yet. It's also got a wonderful story and the gameplay is fun and super tough. Really had a great time with it.
Like a Pixar movie you can play. Kena's story is endearing and the visuals really are next-gen. Overall a great first outing and I'm looking forward to seeing more from them.

Kena is my one of my all-time favorite, family-friendly games. The level and character design are astounding. It’s colorful and magical. The writing is gripping and touching. It’s fun to play with kids.
A great game to play when you are a beginner with 3D action games. I haven’t played many and played on normal difficulty. It was never too overwhelming for me, and I never got stuck on one boss because there is always a fair way to defeat them. Loved the art design and the game looked and played fantastic on my new PS5.
