An amazing cozy game. Takes the best parts from games like Story of Seasons, Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing, and so on but makes it it's own thing. The best part is it is multiplayer and FREE! There are micro transactions but they aren't necessary, solely cosmetic but you have plenty of options without spending money. The game has farming, hunting, fishing, mining, bug catching, forestry, and cooking. You can do all of the above together or solo. Cooking is especially fun together. It even has friendships and romance when it comes to certain NPC characters. Give it a try, being free, you have nothing to lose. It feels like a full priced game and the devs are there to support it for the long haul.
If anyone does play, use 5d0e398d-d206-4e2a-a29d-e50abc4e311d as a referral code when signing up if you'd like. You get a free in game item as would I. If not, just ignore it. Either way, hope this review helps and people try it. It's great!
Absolutely phenomenal cozy game. Is an MMO but you don't have to interact with anyone you don't want to. Takes the best parts of games like Harvest Moon, Story of Seasons, Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing, etc. and mashes them all up into one big cozy multiplayer game that is FREE! It does have micro transactions but only in the form of clothing but you get so many options for free. Farming, crafting, hunting, cooking, bug catching, fishing, decorating, and so much more! Even has NPC friendships and romances! Game even has a decent story and a whole world of lore with much more planned by the developers. If you like cozy games, give it a try. It's free after all but feels like a full fledged game I bought. Don't let the words MMO stear you away. It's wonderful and currently one of my favorites, will be for a long time.
If anyone wants to, use 5d0e398d-d206-4e2a-a29d-e50abc4e311d when signing up for a free in game item. If not, ignore. Either way, hope you try it and have fun. Add me if you do, The Wizard of Wonder

The game is a cool, relaxing game to play with friends, but it's just too slow for me.

Palia is a game that any-& everyone can enjoy.
There are a million different things to do here, ranging from exploration and foraging, to customizing homes & landscapes surrounding your house. All the way to developing friendships & even romances with the NPC villagers. You build relationships by chatting to them, gifting them requested items/resources and completing quests.
On your adventures you will stumble upon beautifully designed animals, fascinating flowers, Landscapes & views that'll make you feel as though your actually on a holiday in Palia. If you're lucky, you might stumble upon a GIANT frog plushie in an open field. There are so many different things to be seen & found.
The online multiplayer aspect is useful for both new & advanced players to communicate. You can request resources, ask for location of NPC for quests, or work together to gather loot or participate in quests together.
The soundtrack is light & dreamy.
All in all, this is a very stress-free game that anyone, in any age group, can enjoy, partnered with one of the most positive communities out there. The only in-game purchases are completely optional. The only thing you can buy in game is coins for premium clothing. Nothing is hidden behind a paywall.
I cannot recommend Palia enough.
It's a free game, try it out and make yourself at home. Hopefully we'll see you there <3

Fun open world game with ongoing development providing an unfolding story and map. This is a "cozy game" and it is a great game to kick off and forget your stress.

It's got alot of content and lore to the story so be prepared to go deep into terminology on a lot of the names of things, animals people inside the world. But luckily they're things that can be compared to irl things so the game just basically renames them so it's not as confusing to slowly get used to the new names.

It's a relaxing game, but with lots of intriguing quest.
