A surprise sequel after nearly 20 years, Metroid Dread brings back the legendary exploration and progression and merges it with excellent modern combat and some of the best boss fights ever.

What a comeback for 2D Metroid after 19 years. Beautiful graphics for Switch, and intense gameplay for a side scroller. The game will get difficult even with the most powerful upgrades, and that’s fine. Multiplayer would have been fun, but this game still hits the mark. 9/10

A real classic feeling from Metroid. Good movement, good mechanics that makes the gameplay smooth and satisfying, but at the end of the day, I wouldn’t say that is one of the best Metroid ever. At lest not into the principal saga.
