IGN Plus is IGN’s premium subscription service. Your membership gives you access to Plus exclusive content including free games, monthly giveaways, exclusive partner discounts and more. As part of your IGN Plus membership you also get MapGenie’s pro membership with full access to its collection of maps and tracking tools. IGN Plus members can browse IGN without any banner ads or video ads. Other benefits include an exclusive discounts at the IGN Store. We want your advice and feedback on how IGN Plus will evolve and grow. Nothing to announce right now, but we’re considering future perks like exclusive merch and Plus-only Q&A streams or videos.

Users anywhere in the world can sign up for IGN Plus subject to US trade restrictions. Currently, IGN is available ad-free on English-language editions across North America, United Kingdom, and Australia. Additionally, some items on the IGN Store can only ship within the United States. Certain partner and discounts offers may only be available in specific regions subject to each partners’ restrictions.

IGN Plus removes banner ads and video ads from IGN.com on your computer, phone, and tablet, and also removes video and banner ads from the Android and iOS apps. IGN Plus does not currently remove ads from “TV” apps like PS4 and Xbox, or on partner platforms like Twitter, YouTube or Twitch.

Please allow up to one hour for your IGN Plus status to be activated, which will remove ads on IGN. If you’re still seeing ads, verify you’re signed in to IGN.com, and that you signed up for Plus with the same email address associated with your IGN account. If you’re still seeing ads on IGN after following these steps, you can email customersupport@ign.com and we’ll get you sorted out.

IGN Plus gives away a variety of free titles from partner independent developers. Generally we like to spotlight cool indie most often via a free Steam code. Recent game giveaways have included Mad Streets, Never Yield and Steamworld Heist.

You can access or edit your Plus account via your account settings page. You can cancel your account any time hassle-free with just a couple clicks, and resuming your subscription is just as easy.

MapGenie provides premium interactive game maps for over 90 games. With MapGenie+ you’ll have unlimited access to all PRO features across every map. To activate your MapGenie+ membership, go to MapGenie and select "Login with IGN". As long as you are a Plus subscriber you’ll get full access to all maps and can track an unlimited number of items.
