Such a huge stepup from the forest endnight games really did a STEP up EDIT: second time finishing it on full realease even better holy **** endnight games

This is a great game to play Solo or as a team. I prefer to play as a team. The building phase is a little limited but still lets you design the most epic bases you can imagine. I recommend a headset while playing this game to get the full immersion of the game. There are plenty of intense moments but you'll still be able to have fun and relax as you explore the island.

The sequel, or in my opinion, the remastered version of the Forest is not more than an "okayish" successor. Although they improved things that have been already good the developer failed to make things better that have been not good. Crafting, Base Building and Exploring are still very enjoyable, but underwhelming story, technical and graphical weaknesses, as well as mediocre programmed NPCs do not attract top scores for this game.

Build base and set up traps ASAP. To make your play easier I would turn on loot respawn.
