Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Review
amazing
If Respawn makes a third game like Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and Fallen Order, it'll complete the best Star Wars trilogy in 30 years, hands down.

So far the game is absolutely awesome. I love what they’ve done with it.
I doubt anyone will ever read this review but if somehow someone does while being on the fence about this game, I’m here to convince you that Jedi Survivor is worth your time. It’s no secret that this game launched in a horrific state. It still to this day has a ton of bugs and issues. This is inexcusable. I won’t sugar coat it. What I want to do here is play devil’s advocate because underneath that jank is a true Star Wars masterpiece filled with emotional highs, gut punching lows, and solid lightsaber-wielding gameplay. Jedi Survivor takes everything that made the first game great and improves upon it. The combat is flashier, the set pieces are larger, the traversal is more varied, and the story is deeper. The only thing worse in my opinion is the planet variety. The story of Jedi Survivor picks up five years after the first game with a Cal who still doesn’t know his place in the galaxy. Over the course of the story, Cal learns how to grapple with things that all of us deal with- love, hate, loss, friendship, and family. It’s these moments that create a wonderful and believable story for our maturing protagonist. The combat and traversal may seem more nuanced at first, but both are expanded upon in really creative ways (which I won’t spoil here) as well. Lastly and most importantly, this game really does feel like Star Wars. Respawn understands what makes a Star Wars nerd happy and delivers a very convenient portal into George Lucas’ galaxy far far away. For these reasons I cannot recommend Star Wars Jedi: Survivor enough!
Respawn made a fun video game with Survivor. It isn't a great innovation in gaming, but it is very fun. I played on easy and at that difficulty the combat was enjoyable, however, I've heard the combat isn't great if you play on higher difficulties. All in all, if you like Star Wars, play this.
The biggest Star Wars game that lost some Star Warsyness during that growth
