The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

This is the game that made me fall in love with video games. I played over 1000 hours with multiple different characters. It is a little dated now for people to try for the first time especially after playing Skyrim. Hopefully the rumors of a remaster are true so more people can experience this masterpiece the way it was meant to. My favorite game of all time.

Such a classic! I honestly like it more than Skyrim due to the uniqueness of all the main and side quests!

There's a reason this game is still being talked about nearly 20 years later. It is that good. I can't wait for the Skyblivion project to complete so we can enjoy the game in an updated format.

It blew my mind in the past but I think the Bethesda formula has played itself out. And I think it makes me look at this with a negative lens. It’s by all means a classic though. Subjectively this rating is how I feel about it in 2023.

One of the best games I've ever played. This definitely had a nostalgic, replayable feeling every time I came back to play it.

This game was revolutionary when it came out. It might not be as good as Morrowind was but it changed the playing field and raised the bar. The graphics, the level of depth in gameplay and the sandbox were groundbreaking in 2006. The amount of time you could put into this game and still have more to see and do and it will still feel fresh was unheard of. The quests, story and the amount of lore in this game still hold up to this day. We are still able to enjoy several memes from this game and it really deserves the remake treatment. Absolute must play.
