Yinlin Ascension Materials
You don't simply level up characters in Wuthering Waves. You also need to ascend them, which means raising their level cap with specific materials depending on the character. Level caps jump from 20 levels at a time in the beginning, and then 10 at a time later on. You need to ascend at level 20, 40, 50, 60, 70, and 80. The highest level is 90.
These are the materials you need to ascend Yinlin to Level 90:
Howler Cores come from "Howler" type Echoes like Hooscamp Flingers, Diamondclaws, Hoartoises, Fusion Dreadmanes, and more. You can search for Echoes that drop Howler Cores under the Echo Hunting tab of your Guidebook.
Group Abomination Tacet Cores drop from the Mech Abomination Weekly Boss in the Court of Savantae Ruins in Whining Aix's Mire. You can find its icon in the region southeast of Jinzhou. See our How to Get Group Abomination Tacet Cores Guide for more information.
Coriolus grows in the Dim Forest region inside the Forbidden Forest and around the "island" of the Great Banyan where the Feilian Beringal resides. The flowers follow the land along the water.
Yinlin Forte Materials
To max out ALL of Yinlin's skills, gather these Forte materials:
Helixes come from the Forgery Challenge: Misty Forest domain on the east side of the map between the Sea of Flames and Forbidden Forest. It has one Resonance Beacon in the Dim Forest area nearby.
Unwarranted Feather is the name of Yinlin's Weekly Boss drop from CBT reported materials lists. However, based on how similar it looks to the Dreamless Feather already in the game, many players believe it was mistranslated or changed before launch. If Unwarranted Feather was truly the name of the drop, it wouldn't exist in this current version of Wuthering Waves.
Dreamless Feathers come from the Statue of the Crownless Heart Weekly Boss, which you only unlock after completing Huanglong Chapter 1: Act 6.
